OIFESM is established in the year 2002 running under “Tarini Education Trust” valid Regd.No-297/2002, of Govt. of Orissa. The Institute have authorized by NATIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION (NSDVE) Sector Skill Council (an Autonomous Body Recognized by Govt. of India),Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) National Development Agency ,established in 1952by Planning Commission Govt. of India, KVIC, under MSME Govt of India & National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS),an Autonomous Institution under Ministry of Education Govt. of India.
Also the institute has bagged ISO9001:2000 Certification for its all-round standardization. The management of the institute has framed up statutory rules and regulation to which the wholesome of administrative measures do abide by.
The contemporary trend of Fire & Safety education is bench marked by adaptability to global needs. Industrial growth, Environmental concerns and social responsibilities are the vital factors for sustainability. Here at OIFESM we have embedded these aspects into Fire & Safety education.
